Since 1983
The business, previously known as JKT Rocks, was founded by the late Jannie Kleynhans, a well-known charismatic legend in the industry, who started the business with an old 1974 model Mercedes Benz Tipper truck back in 1983. He was the only employee, driving his truck, managing clients, marketing, and repairing his own truck on the driveway of his home. Jannie was a strong-willed, passionate, and charismatic man with a big dream. Through grace and very hard work, he and his wife, Wilma Kleynhans, built the business into a highly respected player in the transport industry.
Jannie Kleynhans suddenly passed away in 2009, leaving the business to his two sons, Jean and Jacques, who continue to run the family business today.
