Our client in Somerset West faced the challenge of a steeply sloped garden with no level surfaces. They envisioned a functional outdoor space featuring designated areas for children to play, a pool, and an entertainment zone.

To achieve this, we undertook a complete redesign of the plot, creating five distinct terraces supported by gabion and stone walls. During the excavation process, we discovered granite rock, which we skillfully integrated into the design. This not only enhanced the aesthetic of the stone-packed walls for the vegetable garden but also allowed us to fill gabion baskets, ultimately saving the client costs on additional materials.

This project transformed a challenging landscape into a beautifully structured and usable garden space, perfect for family activities and gatherings.
